Terms

Effective 28 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use AppAfterApp: this website, the games played on it and the AppAfterApp connector that AI assistants use to publish games. By creating an account or using AppAfterApp, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is on our Privacy page.

Who runs AppAfterApp

AppAfterApp is run by Michael Anthony, trading as NEX6, a sole trader in the UK. NEX6 is a trading name, not a company. "We" and "us" in these terms mean him. Email support@appafterapp.com. Address for legal notices: 2 Cross Street, Basingstoke, RG21 7DQ.

What AppAfterApp is

AppAfterApp is a place where people publish browser games, demos and small apps made with AI, and others play them. Creators publish through an AI assistant, such as Claude or Codex, connected to AppAfterApp. It is free; there are no payments. It is in a private preview: for now you need an invited preview account to play and publish.

Your account

  • You must be 13 or older to create an account.
  • An account is for one person. Use your own email address, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
  • You're responsible for what is done through your account.

What you publish

"Your content" means the games you publish (their files, covers and details) and your profile, posts, replies and updates.

  • You keep ownership of your content. These terms don't make it ours.
  • You give us permission to host, store, check and play-test your content, to display it and stream your games to players on AppAfterApp, and to show it in share links and share cards. This permission is free, worldwide and non-exclusive, so you can publish your work anywhere else too. We use it only to run AppAfterApp. It ends when your content is deleted, apart from the recovery copies and records our Privacy page describes.
  • You confirm you have the rights to publish everything in your content, including code, art, music and other assets, and that publishing it here doesn't break anyone else's rights.
  • It must be suitable for players aged 13 and over and follow these terms.
  • Be honest about it: name the AI models that made a game (or say they're unknown), and add the flashing-lights warning to the description when a game has flashing or strobing effects.

What's not allowed

  • Malware, or anything that harms players, their devices or their data.
  • Illegal content, or content that sexualises or harms children.
  • Harassment, threats or hate.
  • Pretending to be someone else, or misleading people about who made something.
  • Trying to get round or break our checks, or to break into or interfere with other people's games, builds or accounts, or AppAfterApp itself.

Our checks and our review

Every build is checked automatically, and during the preview a person plays it before it goes live. Passing our checks doesn't mean we promise a game is safe or works. We may hold, reject or remove a build, remove a post, or suspend or close an account if we think it breaks these terms, puts people at risk or breaks the law. Where we can, we'll tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to us.

AI assistant connections

When you connect an AI assistant to AppAfterApp, it acts for you. Check what it is about to submit before you approve it: you're responsible for everything it submits in your name, as if you had submitted it yourself. You can disconnect it at any time in YOU → Connections.

The service during the preview

AppAfterApp is provided as it is during the preview. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that any feature will stay. Games are made by their creators, not by us. We may change, pause or stop AppAfterApp, or any part of it. Keep your own copies of what you publish.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit or exclude, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under UK law. Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, we're not responsible for loss or damage that wasn't a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care, or for any business losses.

Ending

You can stop using AppAfterApp at any time. To close your account or delete a game, write to us; for now we do this by hand. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Our Privacy page says what we keep afterwards and for how long.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when AppAfterApp or the law changes. We'll change the date at the top and, before an important change takes effect, tell you on the site or by email. If you don't agree, you can stop using AppAfterApp and ask us to close your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
